Careers advice is a person who gives you helpful advice and
specific information about the job to see if you are interested in the job or
help you decide which job in the media is right for you, a careers adviser is
specially trained to work with the public and help you find the perfect job
that suits you best, that you are happy with. Careers adviser will give you a
list of jobs roles in your specific sector and then gives brief summary of what
the job involves and helps show you what jobs roles could possibly be yours,
the job roles range due to your skill, qualifications and the location, careers
adviser will help you create a CV that stands out from the rest as well as
helping you achieve your dream job.

Currier's fairs is an exhibition to show off different companies job
roles to people who are looking for employment, this benefits the companies and
the public as it offers a new recruitment and new opportunities for the public
to get jobs, this can also change a person’s view on the job as they may find
something even better that they prefer, trade fairs offer a wide range of job
roles and employment opportunities, Currier fairs are stalls that allow people
to visit, learn about the job and collect a few handouts for extra information
about the job, this also shows the public what roles are on offer and if the
person waiting to be recruited has the right qualifications then they could be
looking at their next job, Universities also hold careers fairs for their
current and recently graduated students to help support them in the
future.
National press and trade press are types of papers that you can read
except national press advertise job roles and events in the newspaper that you
can attend to seek further advice on your careers, where as trade press are
publications directed to people looking for a job in a certain category, this
also provides details about the job to show you what’s on offer and help you
decide whether its right for you.
Personal contacts are communication through network devices to another
person, you can get personal contact numbers or e-mail from a company you wish
to work for and have a discussion over the phone or ask them to email you
details about the job what they are looking for, what jobs are available and
what you need to qualify for the job.

can ask and talk face to face with an employer or an employee and ask for the
details and job description and what you will have to do and to see if you are

in the media industry in a specific unit.
The Internet offer a whole world range of jobs that you could apply for
online, the internet is a good resource to find, learn and get details about a
specific job, the internet also shows us which companies are advertising jobs
that you want and where the organisation location is so you could stop by and
visit. The internet can also help you contact a specific company by the use of
social media and emails, and finally it also allows employers to advertise and
sell their job to the public, an example of an internet browser is Internet
explorer, Google chrome and Yahoo.
Networking is a way to interact with employers over the internet or over
the phone, networking has become a good way for companies to promote their
business to attract more employees while at the same time helping people who
